Biography of Mr. Azad

Birth

Mr. Abul Kalam Azad was born on February 05, 1982  in Cumilla, Bangladesh. He is the 4th of six siblings. His father was a Primary School Teacher. He was born in a middle class noble Muslim Family.

Childhood

Since the very beginning of Childhood, Mr. Azad was fond of playing Football, Crickets and so many other local & regional games. He had a circle of number of good & honest friends hailed from his locality. 

Academic Qualification

Elementary Schooling

Mr. Azad started his Elementary Education from Gunjor North Govt. Primary School in 1987 and Graduated in 1991. During this elementary level, He always stood place among 1st, 2nd or 3rd.

Secondary Schooling

Then he started Secondary Education from Baira M.A High School in 1992 and Graduated in 1997. During this Secondary level, He always stood 1st  place in all classes from Six to Ten with distinction marks. In 1994, He Stood 1st in Muradnager Thana and Obtained the Talent Grade in Junior Scholarship Examination. In SSC-1997, He Scored 886 marks (88.6% Avg) with Distinctions in Math, Higher Math, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Religion-Islam, Agriculture & Geography.

College Education

Mr. Azad started College Education from renowned Adhyapak Abdul Majid college in 1997 and Graduated in 1999. During College level, He always stood 1st  place in all classes from XI to XII with distinction marks. In HSC-1999, He scored 911 marks (91.1% Avg) with Distinctions in Math, Physics, Chemistry, Statistics & English. He also obtained the 6th Position in the combined Merit list in Cumilla Board.

A good number of his college friends and batchmates are currently dominating the country’s administration through different top and leading position.

University Background - Undergrad

Mr. Azad started University Education in Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering from renowned BRAC University in Fall 2001 and Graduated in Spring 2007. During University level, He achieved different Scholarships like full tuition waiver Scholarship, BRAC Ford Scholarship as well as On-Campus Job.  He completed the B.Sc in CSE with CGPA 3.13 on the scale 4.00 along with a minor in Business Studies.

University Background - Postgrad

Mr. Azad started studying Master of Business Administration from Bangladesh Open University in 2010 and Graduated in 2014. During Post graduation level, He executed a number of different projects and conducted some researches, presentations and surveys. He completed MBA in Management with CGPA 3.31 on the Scale 4.00

Professional Experience

IFIC Bank (2010 - present)

Mr. Azad joined IFIC Bank Limited as a Management Trainee (MT) on June 15, 2010 through a rigorous recruitment process conducted by BIBM. Initially, he was posted at IT Division of the Bank and then for Job rotation, he served for the Bank in so many divisions like Credit Risk Management, General Banking Operations, Branch Controlling, Mobile Banking Operations and Alternative Delivery Operations and Services. Currently, he has been serving as In-Charge, Dispute, Fraud and MIS Management under Alternative Delivery Services.

Agrani Bank (2008 - 2010)

Mr. Azad started his career in  Banking in Agrani Bank Limited as a Probationary Officer (PO) on December 24,  2008 through a rigorous recruitment process conducted by IBA, Dhaka University. After successful completion of Probation, he was confirmed as a Senior Officer of the Bank. Initially, he was posted at IT Division of the Bank and then for Job rotation, he served for the Bank in so many divisions like Credit Risk Management and General Banking Operations.

RANGS Group (2007 - 2008)

Mr. Azad joined IFIC Bank Limited as a Management Trainee (MT) on June 15, 2010 through a rigorous recruitment process conducted by BIBM.
