Biography of Mr. Ashiq
Birth
Mr. Kawsar Alam Ashiq was born on 11 Aug 1982 in Cumilla, Bangladesh. He is the 1st of six siblings. His father was a Non Resident Bangladeshi. He was born in a middle class noble Muslim Family.
Childhood
Since the very beginning of Childhood, Mr. Ashiq was fond of playing Football, Crickets and so many other local & regional games. He had a circle of number of good & honest friends hailed from his locality.
Academic Qualification
Elementary Schooling
Mr. Ashiq started his Elementary Education from Gunjor North Govt. Primary School in 1988 and Graduated in 1992. During this elementary level, He always stood place among 1st, 2nd or 3rd.
Secondary Schooling
Then he started Secondary Education from Baira M.A High School in 1993 and Graduated in 1998. During this Secondary level, He always stood place among 1st, 2nd and 3rd position in all classes from Six to Ten with distinction marks. In SSC-1998, He Scored 747 marks (74.7% Avg) with Distinctions in Math, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Religion-Islam, Agriculture & Geography.
College Education
Mr. Ashiq started College Education from renowned Adhyapak Abdul Majid college in 1998 and Graduated in 2000. During College level, He always stood place among top positions in all classes from XI to XII with distinction marks. In HSC-2000, He scored 789marks (78.9% Avg) with Distinctions in Accounting, Management, Fianance & Statistics. He also obtained the 10th Position in the Merit list of Business Studies group in Cumilla Board.
A good number of his college friends and batchmates are currently dominating the country’s administration through different top and leading position.
University Background - Undergrad
Mr. Ashiq started University Education in Bachelor of Business Administration from country’s leading Dhaka University in 2001 and Graduated in 2004. During University level, He achieved different Scholarships, Awards for his excellent academic performances. He completed the BBA with CGPA 3.75 on the scale 4.00
University Background - Postgrad
Mr. Ashiq started studying Master of Business Administration from Dhaka University in 2004 and Graduated in 2005. During Post graduation level, He executed a number of different projects and conducted some researches, presentations and surveys. He completed MBA in Management with CGPA 3.81 on the Scale 4.00
Professional Experience
SBAC Bank (2010 - present)
Mr. Ashiq joined SBAC Bank Limited as Senior Executive Officer on December 24, 2014. Currently, he has been serving as Assistant Vice President (AVP) and Head Of Branch, Velanagar Branch, Narsingdi.
Dutch Bangla Bank (2008 - 2014)
Mr.Ashiq started his career in Banking in Dutch Bangla Bank Limited as a Probationary Officer (PO) on June 22, 2008 through a rigorous recruitment process conducted by IBA, Dhaka University. After successful completion of Probation, he was confirmed as a Senior Officer of the Bank. Then, he continued his profession with the service of DBBL till 23rd December, 2014.
Mr. Ashiq joined Asian University as a Lecturer on June 15, 2006 through a rigorous recruitment process and continued to serve with utmost sincerity in the noble field of teaching profession.
